Dear customers,
At the end of each half-year, Speedy conducts a mandatory analysis of economic development and the dynamics of inflationary processes over the past 12 months.
It is important to emphasize that the upcoming price update currently is not related to the adoption of the euro as the official currency of the Republic of Bulgaria as of 01.01.2026.
This year’s update of Speedy's pricing policy, as always, is transparent, fair, and well-justified by the following facts:
- The increase in the Consumer Price Index in the "Services" sector from May 2024 to May 2025 amounts to 4.6%.
- The growth in the average wage in the "Transport" sector from May 2024 to May 2025 is 12.37% (from BGN 1859 to BGN 2089), continuing to "catch up" with the national average wage.
To ensure the high quality of processing and delivery of your shipments, without underestimating our commitment to employee well-being,
and to continue investing in a more advanced network of lockers, offices, and modern delivery equipment, we shall update all individually agreed prices by 4.1% as of 01.08.2025.
As of the same date, the prices of the main and additional services in Speedy Tariff shall also be updated accordingly.
The fees for the additional services Cash on Delivery and Declared Value shall remain unchanged.
Due to a significant increase in shipments with non-standard dimensions (not eligible for processing through the industry-standard automated conveyors),
which require manual measuring, sorting, and additional workforce, we shall introduce a Manual Handling fee for shipments consisting of one or more packages where
at least one side of a package exceeds 100 cm. The fee shall be BGN 3.00 (excl. VAT) for such a package and shall apply to parcel services shipments.
We shall maintain the promotion for shipments up to 3 kg sent to a locker at a price below BGN 3.00 (incl. VAT). The promotion shall remain valid until 01.01.2026.
Please consider this letter as the official one-month notice of changes that shall take effect from 01.08.2025.
